REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS/BID PROPOSAL FOR
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES
The City of Livermore, Kentucky, is requesting proposals from professional
landscape architectural firms for the purpose of providing professional
landscape/architectural services for the design of:
(i)
Two (2) Welcome signs to be constructed off US 431, one at either
end of the city limits.
(ii)
Landscaping and boulders around Welcome signs
(iii)
Landscaping at triangular lot at the confluence of US 431 and
Highway 136 to include horse farm fencing.
for a project titled,
431 Scenic Beautification Project – PO2-6281000004451”.
The project is being funded by a Transportation Enhancement Reimbursement
Program through the Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century (TEA21)
and the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity
Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU), in cooperation with the Kentucky
Transportation Cabinet. Attention is particularly called to compliance with
the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA); and, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
(DBE) program, as described in 23 CFR 635 Subpart A and Section 1101(b)
of SAFETEA-LU.
Landscape/architectural services/activities will include at a minimum, but
not be limited to, the following phases: Preliminary/final design; Advertising/
Bid; Construction administration, oversight, and inspection.

copies of the proposal should be submitted to the attention of John Renfrow, Mayor, at the aforementioned address and clearly marked on the
outside “Request for Proposal- 431 Scenic Beautification Project – PO2628-
1000004451”, no later than 3:00 p.m. local time, Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Proposals in excess of 15 single-sided pages in length will not
be considered. Proposal submission via fax or email will not be considered
valid. Respondents will be notified of the result of the selection process.
